Product design and development company, FS Design, has won the Echo Portfolio Award for Technology for an integrated iPod dock for the Nissan Micra.

The project, which had a 16-week deadline, required the team to design, develop and test the dock, which is now being line-fitted to cars. The device is constructed of PP to match the cup holder into which it is being located.
