What’s got eight legs and likes iPhones?
From PRW.com, 21 January 2010

The Spiderpodium may look arachnidan but it is in fact a unique plastics alternative to the static docks used to hold phones, media players and satnavs.
New UK company Breffo launched the Spiderpodium this month in the electronic accessories market, and can be blamed if more fainthearted users recoil from moving its legs into all sorts of positions for cradling their iPhone.
Breffo commissioned Conka Design to develop a multifunctional pod that is extremely portable and flexible for use in many environments.
The Spiderpodium’s eight flexible, ‘secured and assured hold’ notched legs allow the Spiderpodium to hang from, or secure itself to, virtually any surface that is not flat. The articulated legs have insert moulded steel parts to make them strong enough for use.
The proportioned hole in the body of the Spiderpodium has been designed specifically to allow any docked device to be charged through the device’s own proprietary charger.
A further advantage of the Spiderpodium is that it leaves no footprint of its having being used, unlike the common plastic units attached to the dash and windscreen, which can encourage thieves to break into a car.
