Call for entries in Young Designer Competition
5 March 2010

Agentdraw, the product design, development and manufacturing company, has started taking online entries in its Young Designer Competition. Shortlisted entrants will see their product ideas taken through a series of design and prototyping stages, with the winner being given the chance to see their design put into serial production.
The object is to design a useful, original, non-electronic product which must be commercial and have a mass market which can be in the retail or industrial sectors. The competition is open to individuals up to the age of 25 years old.
Competitors can be students, employees or unemployed individuals who must have the skills to complete the product design process from concept through CAD and technical design to production-ready manufacturing data.
The competition will have several stages and some entrants will be eliminated at each stage of the competition. Three finalists will be invited to The Plastics Industry Awards 2010, taking place at the London Hilton on 1 October. The winning design will be product marketed and if the market demand is proven, produced by Agentdraw.
For more information on how to enter, visit the competition website www.agentdraw.co.uk. Deadline for entries is 31 March 2010.
